So the time has come. Bantam Lyons is back and their new single proves that the band have not lost its splendor since its debut. Served by a raw and organic production, all Watts out, the band comes back with their most inspired post-punk / noise rock reflexes. The distorted and epileptic pop songs are direct, enraged, charged with electricity, ready to rock the audience for a collective frenzy. 

Originally from Brest, Bantam Lyons carries the West of France in their hearts and their music. Since 2013, the Bretons have been tracing their route with promising EPs (like I Want To Be Peter Crouch and Melatonin Spree), mixing pop and shoegaze. Rain, melancholy, and rage are all on the band’s program, which is reminiscent of 80’s heavyweights the Cure and the Chameleons. Not to solely rely on nostalgia, Bantam Lyons also carries traces of modern pop, which are felt in the melodies, heady choruses, and meticulous production.
